NASHVILLE, TN – A Nashville woman accused of stealing more than $15,000 in merchandise from multiple stores across the city was arrested Thursday afternoon on 28 outstanding warrants, according to the Nashville Police Department.
Investigators identified 31-year-old Kierra Hockett as a suspect in a series of organized retail theft cases dating back to July 2025.
Police said Hockett faces multiple charges including theft and organized retail crime involving incidents at stores including Ulta Beauty, Sephora, Target, Bath & Body Works, and Hibbett Sports.
During the investigation, detectives also determined Hockett allegedly stole the identity of a woman from North Carolina to rent property and establish an account with Nashville Electric Service.
In addition to the retail theft allegations, authorities said Hockett has been charged with six counts of forgery, three counts of identity theft, theft of property, and theft of services.
Police also said Hockett is wanted on additional charges in multiple Tennessee jurisdictions and in Calhoun.
She remains jailed on a $232,000 bond.
