WARREN COUNTY, Tenn. — A joint law enforcement operation led by the Warren County Sheriff’s Narcotics Division resulted in the seizure of 99 pounds of methamphetamine and the arrest of one suspect on felony drug charges, authorities announced.
Arnaldo Davila Cabrera was arrested on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, following a coordinated multi-agency narcotics investigation. He was charged with Felony Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) and remains held in the Warren County Jail pending his initial court arraignment.
Joint Investigation Yields Major Meth Interception
The multi-pound seizure was the result of an ongoing investigation conducted by investigators with the Warren County Sheriff’s Narcotics Division alongside multiple assisting local, state, and federal partner agencies.
Officers confiscated 99 pounds of methamphetamine during the operation, cutting off a substantial supply of illicit narcotics before it could reach surrounding communities. Following the seizure, Cabrera was taken into custody and booked into the county facility.
Sheriff Commends Multi-Agency Collaboration
Warren County Sheriff Tommy Matheny commended the investigators and partner agencies involved in bringing the complex interdiction operation to a successful conclusion.
“I could not be prouder of my Narcotics Division,” Sheriff Matheny said in a statement following the arrest. “I also want to recognize and sincerely thank every assisting agency and every officer who contributed to this investigation. These investigators work long hours, conduct difficult investigations, follow leads, develop information, and put themselves in dangerous situations because they understand what is at stake.”
Sheriff Matheny emphasized that law enforcement agencies in the region will maintain an aggressive stance against drug trafficking networks. “We will continue to investigate those who bring dangerous drugs into our community, and we will continue to work with our local, state, and federal partners to disrupt the supply of illegal narcotics wherever it leads us,” he stated.
