Nashville Serial Shoplifters Arrested on 60 Combined Charges

Two Nashville serial shoplifting suspects remained in jail Thursday after Robbery Operations detectives arrested them Wednesday night on Gallatin Pike South, Metro Nashville police said.

Thirty-one-year-old Dainyale Moore and 34-year-old Darius Patterson face a combined 60 charges tied to repeated thefts from stores over the past year.

Power tools taken from big-box stores

Police said the pair targeted retailers such as Home Depot and Lowes. Detectives said they would steal hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars worth of power tools at a time.

Patterson’s charges

Patterson had 29 outstanding warrants, including 27 felony and misdemeanor theft charges. He remains jailed in lieu of $98,500 bond.

Moore’s charges

Moore had 31 outstanding warrants, most of them for theft. She also faces two counts of misdemeanor child endangerment.

Those counts stem from a November 2025 incident in which police said she left her two young children in a car while she shopped at a local Dollar General store.

Moore remains jailed in lieu of $99,000 bond.

The charges are accusations. Neither suspect’s court dates were listed in the police report.
