LENOIR CITY, TN — A 24-year-old man faces multiple criminal charges after allegedly exposing himself and stalking women along a popular local trail system, prompting a widespread appeal by law enforcement for additional victims to step forward.
Jordan Eplett was taken into custody on Wednesday afternoon, June 17, 2026, at “The Bluffs” park area located at 3950 Jackson Bend Road. Following a search of the property and suspect interviews, Loudon County Sheriff’s Office deputies charged Eplett with six counts of indecent exposure.
Serial Trail Encounters and Woods Pursuit
The arrest unfolded after deputies responded to a standard indecent exposure dispatch at the park. Arriving units met with an adult female victim who reported that she had been swimming with her dogs when a male stranger approached her, initiated conversation regarding her occupation, and repeatedly made comments about her appearance.
Recognizing the individual from a severe encounter a few months prior—during which the same man had allegedly exposed himself, masturbated in front of her, and physically chased her through the dense woods—the woman immediately began gathering her belongings to flee. As she turned to leave the area, she witnessed the suspect openly masturbating while staring directly at her. The victim ran to her vehicle to call 911 while the suspect fled down the trail system.
Vehicle Intercept and Multi-Victim Disclosures
While some deputies interviewed the initial caller, a secondary unit discovered a red Pontiac sedan parked abnormally off the shoulder of the roadway. A computer database check of the Tennessee registration plates matched the vehicle directly to Eplett.
As specialized tracking teams and deputies swept the trail lines for the suspect, they encountered multiple other women walking the paths. When questioned, several of the citizens detailed matching accounts of a man committing identical lewd acts against them earlier that afternoon.
Shortly after, two of the newly identified victims were able to pinpoint Eplett’s exact coordinates for searching deputies.
Suspect Confession and Public Appeal
Deputies converged on the bank of the water, where they located Eplett sitting on the shoreline smoking marijuana. After being placed under arrest and formally read his Miranda rights, Eplett agreed to waive his rights and answer detectives’ questions.
During the recorded interview, Eplett explicitly admitted to exposing himself and masturbating in front of multiple women throughout the afternoon, stating he had consumed alcohol and smoked marijuana prior to the offenses. He further admitted to historical, unreported incidents where he had targeted other women using the same pattern of behavior.
Active Investigation Notice: The Loudon County Sheriff’s Office strongly believes Eplett has targeted additional citizens who have not yet come forward to file official reports.
