MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Four people were arrested after members of the Memphis Safe Task Force executed a search warrant at a Memphis residence and seized firearms, drugs, and cash, authorities announced.
Officials said the search warrant was carried out Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at a home in the 1900 block of Belmar Street in South Memphis.
The suspects arrested were identified as:
- Jordan McDaniel, 21
- Doryun Moore, 24
- Mikavious Owens, 19
- Terrell Holmes, 18
According to investigators, McDaniel, Moore, and Holmes were arrested inside the residence, while Owens was apprehended behind the home after allegedly attempting to flee.
During the search, task force members recovered:
- Seven firearms
- Six 16-ounce bottles of promethazine
- 30 ecstasy pills
- Approximately 50 pounds of marijuana
- $2,025 in cash
Authorities also seized a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
All four suspects were charged with multiple counts involving possession of firearms and possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute.
Officials said the Memphis Safe Task Force was launched in September 2025 as a multi-agency initiative aimed at reducing violent crime in Memphis.
The task force includes federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies along with the Tennessee National Guard.
Since its creation, authorities said the task force has made 9,120 arrests, including:
- 67 homicide-related arrests
- 1,006 controlled substance arrests
- 853 firearms violation arrests
- 105 sex offense arrests
Officials also reported:
- 260 juveniles arrested
- 960 known gang members arrested
- 1,525 illegal firearms seized
- 150 missing children located
Authorities said the operation reflects the task force’s ongoing effort to identify and arrest violent offenders while removing illegal weapons and drugs from Memphis neighborhoods.
