NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Metro Nashville Police officers made several arrests over multiple days involving outstanding warrants, assault on officers, a foot pursuit, and the recovery of a stolen firearm.
On June 18, Officer N. Hoffman responded to a trespassing call at a hotel in Nashville involving a disorderly individual who refused to leave the property. Police said the suspect resisted officers before being taken into custody. After identifying the man, officers discovered he was wanted on outstanding drug-related warrants from another jurisdiction. He was charged with criminal trespass and assault on an officer and was also held on the outstanding warrants.
On June 19, Officer Motes arrested a man after discovering he had an active warrant from Kentucky. Police said the arrest was made without incident.
In a separate case, Officer Gable and Hermitage C-Detail officers located and arrested a suspect wanted on warrants related to Sex Offender Registration violations and a Community Supervision Violation. The suspect was taken into custody without incident.
Officer Bader and other officers also arrested a suspect during a disorderly person investigation on Donelson Pike after determining the individual had an outstanding warrant.
In another incident near Opry Mills, Field Training Officer Reynolds, who was working secondary employment, was alerted that a suspect had threatened security officers.
As officers approached, the suspect fled through the crowded parking lot on foot. Officers Little and Davis assisted in the pursuit, and the suspect was captured.
Investigators recovered a stolen firearm along the route the suspect had taken while fleeing.
The suspect was charged with assault, evading arrest, possession of a controlled substance, and felony theft involving the stolen firearm.
The Metro Nashville Police Department said the incidents highlight officers’ continued efforts to apprehend wanted individuals and remove illegal firearms from the community.
